Michael received the degree of Barrister-at-Law from King's Inns, Dublin and is a European Trademark Attorney, Irish Registered Trademark Attorney and UK Trademark Attorney. Michael is a Partner at Tomkins & Co. and has considerable experience in a broad range of Domestic and Community Trademark matters, with particular emphasis on handling Trademark oppositions and managing Trademark litigation. Michael is active on professional committees and currently is a member of ECTA Council, form Chairman and current member of the ECTA Harmonisation Committee, Chairman of the Trademark Law and Practice Committee of the Irish Association of Patent and Trademark Attorneys, and a member of the INTA Parallel Imports Committee.
