Olivia is a partner in the firm and a European Patent Attorney, Irish Registered Patent Attorney and UK Chartered Patent Attorney with a background in Physics, holding a BSc Honours Degree in Physics with Medical Applications from Kings College London. Olivia specialises in the drafting and prosecution of patents in the fields of telecommunications, ITC, optics, imaging and medical devices. Olivia has extensive experience in the prosecution of European Patent applications, including attending Oral Proceedings at the European Patent Office and in European Patent Opposition cases. Olivia is available to advise clients on all aspects of Irish, UK and European Patent Law and practice, from patent filing strategies to contentious issues including patent infringement and invalidity.Olivia is a fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and a member of European Patent Institute (EPI) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). Olivia is the current Chairperson of the Education Committee of the Irish Association of Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys, and represents Ireland on the EPI's European Patent Practice Committee.
